Laura, were you born and raised?
I was born in France but moved to the United States when I was just a girl, we settled first in Southern California and then moved to Colorado after that. I grew up in the Colorado Front Range in the Boulder and Denver area and my hometown is Lafayette, Colorado.
You are so versatile, when do you have time to do all these things?
Well I am incredibly busy but I also have an amazing team who help me get everything done. I am also pretty diligent with scheduling what I want to do so that things don’t fall through the cracks. That said, I love to socialize and have fun and I find that I am way more productive when I make sure to have time to do that as well! I also find it helpful to set intentions for myself pretty far in the future and then set mini deadlines in between to make sure I am doing the things I want to do. Ultimately, I trust my intiution about what is important for me to do and what isn’t as much.
I read, that you have a television show in development and you are currently producing your first film. Please tell me more about the show and the film – and when we can see your show and film?
My short film, inspired by dating in Los Angeles is in Post Production and my television show is in pre-production and we will start shooting early fall. The show will feature my work and travel.
You are hosting several podcasts on design, music, the entertainment industry, writing, health and spirituality, as well as business and empowerment. Is there another topic that might interest you?
Well travel is a big interest for me! I do it all the time. If I stay in one place too long, I get itchy feet. I am not sure if you have heard that expression but I like to travel, move around, see new places, and meet new people.
You are one of the premiere psychics in Los Angeles. When did you realize that you have these skills?
When I was little, I was like the kid in the movie, The Sixth Sense. I saw ghosts and couldn’t always tell they weren’t live people. It still happens very occasionally! As I grew older my abilities got stronger until I couldn’t ignore them. It was very confusing for me though, I didn’t have teachers in my life at the time and so it took me many years to come to term with my abilities, learn how to have healthy boundaries, and connect with the spiritual realm in a safe way. Now I feel very blessed to work with my abilities and help people.
Can anyone come to you and ask for your help?
I work with a small group of select clients but I am still taking on new clients. Sometimes I have to schedule out farther in advance but it depends on my schedule. When I travel I will often teach classes and see clients in wherever traveling so I see clients in person and also over the phone or video chat. Most of my clients see me virtually so I have clients all over the world which I love.
You also work as a ghost whisperer, as a paranormal communicator, and as a consultant medium for a paranormal investigation group, Altitude Paranormal Group. How exhausting is that for you?
I work mostly now as an independent psychic medium and love it thought it can be tiring if there are a lot of spirits around. Ghosts are like live people minus the body, there are nice ghosts, and not nice ghosts. I have enjoyed my work with paranormal investigation teams because in many cases we get evidence (spirits voices or images) that correspond with what I am getting psychically. It is really affirming when that happens.
How can you relax the best?
I love spa treatments and one of my favorites is infrared sauna. I do that a lot and it helps keep me healthy and calm. I am also a huge fan of meditation and I actually teach meditation as well. I think its important to get pampering treatments and take care of yourself but ultimately you have to be the one who makes sure you are making time for you because no one else will do it for you.
What do you like to do in your free time (although I can not imagine that you still have free time!)?
I love to watch movies and online television series (Stranger Things is one of my favorite shows!). I also love to read and write and have a passion for music and dancing. Despite all the things I do, I do these things more often than you might think! I believe its important to be creative and expressive. For me its almost like breathing, if I don’t do it I start to feel like I am not alive. So in a way, its not really an option not to do it!
