Designer Dawid Tomaszewski eröffnete heuer die Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Rund 500 Gäste kamen ins E-Werk, um die neue Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2018/19 des großartigen Designers zu sehen.
Schon in seiner Sommerkollektion hatte DAWID TOMASZEWSKI das Thema Japan, jetzt geht es in Europa damit weiter. Inspiriert von dem Europa der 60er Jahre, greift der Designer Schnitte und Materialien auf und verbindet diese mit typischen Motiven aus japanischen Gärten. Er kreiert eine Verbindung mit den ikonischen Bauhausprints aus früheren Kollektionen. Die Koi-Motive aus der SS18 Kollektion werden ergänzt durch Kraniche. Hinzu kommen animalische Prints, wie Leopard, Schlange und Krokodil. Gepaart werden diese mit Beerentönen und knalligen Farben, wie pink, orange und azurblau.
Erstmals gibt es von DAWID TOMASZEWSKI Jeans – und natürlich sind es keine einfachen, sondern mit der für ihn typischen verspielten, eleganten Dekadenz. An seinen Jeans auch wieder Kois, ein Symbol, das er letzte Saison einführte. Leider zeigte er seine Jeans noch nicht auf dem Runway im E-Werk.
