US-Schauspielerin Katie Holmes

Marc Cain invited to his fashion soirée in Berlin
Under the motto „Pearls, Stories and Champagne“ Marc Cain invited to the exclusive fashion soirée in Berlin. US actress Katie Holmes was also inspired by the world of Marc Cain. The ambience skilfully spanned the arc from the golden decade of the 1920s to the new 2020s with a mix of classic elegance and modern inter-pretations.
In keeping with the theme of the evening, the hall was decorated with opulent chandeliers, orchid blossoms and placemats with gold-coloured details. The models, including Canadian Heather Marks, strolled along the winding catwalk that meandered between the banquet and bistro tables. While actor and dubbing artist Sascha Rotermund charmingly led through the evening as presenter, „Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Band“ provided the musical backdrop.
Helmut Schlotterer, Chairman of the Management Board, founder and owner of Marc Cain
„The promising motto „Pearls, Stories & Champagne“ was perfectly implemented. With unique looks, a stimulating atmosphere and a presenter who was able to carry our guests away. I am very satisfied and look forward to the new Marc Cain Soirée Fall/Winter 2020 Season!“
US actress Katie Holmes
„I’ve been invited to the Marc Cain Show for the second time and it’s just great to be here. My show outfit is an elegant but equally glamorous look, perfect for a wonderful evening on the town!“
The Marc Cain Collections in Autumn/Winter 2020 interpret Néo-Bourgeois influences in a modern style and show a contemporary opulence in the outfits. High quality capes and ponchos are modernised classics that compete with coats in autumn. The culotte now presents itself shortened, knitted, made of fulling wool as a continuation in a trendy form as a divided skirt with an integrated pleat for additional volume. In terms of shape and colour, suits are partly based on classic menswear with angular shoulders and elaborate lapels. Shirt jackets are belted casually at the waist. Femininity comes into the looks increasingly through the blouse. Frills, flounces, pintucks – everything that is decorative is allowed.
Among the prominent guests were actress Katie Holmes, Jessica Schwarz, Alexandra Maria Lara and the top influencers Caro Daur and Leonie Hanne.
